Helping Parents Navigate
with Confidence
Who We Are
At Captain’s Place we desire to support families—especially fathers—who feel lost after their child is diagnosed with autism. Through guidance, resources, and a focus on strengthening marriages and families, Captain’s Place helps parents find direction, confidence, and hope as they navigate the journey of autism together.
We created Captain’s Place to share our experiences so other families don’t have to start from scratch. Our hope is to offer a sense of direction, encouragement, and reassurance that you’re not alone.
While we place a special focus on supporting fathers as they grow into their role, our heart extends to all parents, especially those caring for children on the more complex end of the spectrum, including level 3 and nonverbal children. We want to walk alongside you, offering support in whatever ways we can.
While we are not medical doctors or therapists, we speak from lived experience and a sincere desire to help. We’ve walked the path of autism ourselves, the unexpected turns, the quiet struggles, and the small, meaningful victories, and we offer what we’ve learned in hopes of easing that journey for others.
Your support fuels progress and brings hope where it's needed most.
